I believe this is a performance poster, announcing the morris dancer’s arrival in London. He is depicted wearing a shirt with leaves embroidered, noted that this is appropriate to the role of a morris dancer and is accompanied by his taborer. Performed at the west door of St. Paul’s in 1600.
